Apple Wonderlust event which holds today 12th September 2023 (12:53 AM PDT), unveils its product as stated in the WWDC 2023.
It is not something out of the box or new, that the tech giant is known for its prolific business planning, product design, marketing strategy, meeting and exceeding technology expectations of its users, while retaining its market-cap as the trillion-dollar company.
The WWDC2023 event which held sometime in June (5th June 2023 precisely); the tech giant disclosed to its fan boys/girls, on what to expect this fall, in their newest products, which fixitgearware summarized here.
The wait is over, as fall is here (September), and apple will be hosting one last event before flooding the market with their amazing products. Although the event holds today, but let’s give great accolades to the entire team of their unwavering spirit despite a decline in the organizations shares, after China publicly disclosed the ban in the use of iPhone by its citizens.
Whilst, this might have impacted the organization, but they are not shattered, as they would be announcing all the products today, after the event; tagged: Wonderlust. The product ranges from the iPhone device, USB cables, cases, AirPods, watch, and more.
What To Expect in the new Wonderlust Event Today?
The tons of product to be showcased in the Wonderlust event are quite a handful, we at Fixitgearware Security, will be outlining them in stages, describing the product designs, features, and EU compliance.
The iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus unveiling:
The event, will have apple unveiling the new iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 plus models which comes in a variety of 6-colors, and available in 6.1 and 6.7 inch in sizes, nothing unusual in comparison to size of products released last year.
However, a slight modification has been made in the charging port of the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 plus models. Instead of the previous lightening charging port discovered in old models, the iPhone 15 models are coming into the market with a type C-USB charging port.
The type C-USB port was influenced, on the battle that occurred between apple and its compliance to the EU-regulatory bodies. Apple took the quickest adaption, by designing it across all boards and users, instead of conflicting between designing different USB type cables for different countries, which might not be cost effective.
Also, to be expected in the new iPhone 15 models, include the adaptation of the dynamic island which was introduce to iPhone 14-models, by apple. This enables a freer display for the users who are to purchase the new iPhone-15.
Nonetheless, Apple will only be retaining ProMotion refresh rate, and always-on display will be limited to the Pro-Models. The new iPhone 15 and iPhone 15-pro model designs, has apple opting out from the glass-back design models, to a newer back-model called the Frosted Glass, which was only a feature found in the iPhone pro list.
The Apple USB-Cables Designs and Models:
The Apple USB-Cables designs and models, are all going to be of a type-C. Also, allegedly the cables are said to come with distinctive colours which are in: A Coral shade that’s a cross between orange and pink, A light greenish yellow color, black, blue, and the default color white. A business model design, adopted to color match the new iPhone model blueprint.
The iPhone 15 and iPhone 15-pro Camera Technology:
Apple did not ignore the modifications also in its camera technology, as the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15-pro Camera would have a 48-megapixel design for its main camera, and a f/1.6 aperture which will improve image resolution and quality in a low ambience. Additional 12-mega pixel Ultra-wide camera (similar to the designs of the iPhone 14-models with no new updates).
Qualcomm 5G chips in iPhone 15 and iPhone 15-pro:
The Qualcomm 5G chip would be introduced in iPhone 15, and 15-pro, in other to improve signal strength in communication, and internet services. The A-17 chip would be pre-built with the iPhone 15-pro models, and the normal iPhone 15 models, will be getting the A-16 chip (same as the chip installed in 14-models).
Additional features in the iPhone 15 pro and introducing the iPhone 15-Pro Max:
The additional features are coming this year to the iPhone pro models, and in consistent to their design patterns. Users are to expect two of these models, the iPhone 15 pro (6.1-inch) and iPhone 15-Pro Max (6.7 inch).
New design updates coming to the 15-pro models include a more striking thinner design, curved bezels, grafted titanium material for the chassis. Also, the 15-pro, and 15-pro max, has the stainless-steel color discontinued, as they both will be coming with the titanium colours design, including Black, dark blue, Gray, Silver, and Titanium. In addition, the titanium color would be a more matte than stainless steel, and the 15-pro model is expected to be lighter in weight due to the titanium.
Apple will not be making changes in the volume button yet, as apple is still experimenting on that, hence no new updates should be expected in the volume button.
The mute switch is expected to be swapped in place with a mute button, which would be capable of multiple functions similar to the actions of the watch-series.
The new iOS-17, indicates that the button would be able to perform multiple functions such as Activate camera, Activate a shortcut, Launch the Translate App, Toggle on Silent Mode, Turn on Flashlight, Turn on Focus Mode Start a Voice Memo, and a range of other functions.
It also a notable fact that the 15-pro models would have similar USB port type c designs, conforming to the EU-standards. Unconfirmed reports have an indication that the pro models are capable of supporting a USB 3.2 (with a transfer speed of 20GB/s) or thunderbolt (transfer speed of 40GB/S). A few of the Pro-models are rumored to be capable of a charging speed of 35W.
Apple adopted a few changes in the Wide angle, and Telephoto cameras of the two pro models (15-pro and 15-pro max), to enhance low light performance, while still retaining the 48-mega-pixels (no changes made).
The 15-pro max, is expected to have the biggest camera feature, A periscope zoom adeptness, a provision made for the periscope technology introduced in the new model, and the zoom is said to be up to 5x or 6x.
Apple is expected to introduce the A-17 chip, that was built with 3-nanometer process, in the 15-pro and 15-pro max, a chip built on a new node, exciting performance, and improvement in efficiency.
Furthermore, 15-pro and 15-pro max, would be coming with an improve battery life span, and apple is said to be using similar 5G Qualcomm chip across the 15-models, and unconfirmed reports stated that the “U2” Ultra-Wideband chip would be integrated in the Vision-Pro, which is expected next year for (USD$3,499).
The 15-pro and 15-pro max, is expected to have Wi-Fi 6E, which is the latest Wifi protocol that supports up to 6GHz bandwidth. Also, the storage limits for both models, is said to come with up-to 2TB, and 8GB RAM. These amazing changes in the 15-pro and 15-pro max is expected to hike the price of the models, as at the moment of this report, we have not ascertained the expected cost of the new models.
The Apple Watch Series 9:
The Apple watch series 9, which is expected to be unveiled today; however, much changes in the iterative update is not to be expected, and no changes in the physical designs. Apple fanatics should only expect changes in the new processor that would be introduced which is built on A-15 technology, a new update since the change in Apple watch series 6.
In addition, new changes to be expected includes an increase in the battery life, an update in optical heart rate sensor, and a new U2 ultra-wide band chip for location accuracy. It is expected that the new series-9, maybe coming in a pinkish color, for the aluminum, and apple might be introducing a new fabric woven and magnetic buckle band. An unconfirmed story stated that leathers are phased out, to adopt an eco-friendlier design pattern.
The Apple Watch Ultra 2:
Apple watch lovers, should expect a new look in the Watch Ultra 2, as it gets a fresh look in 2023 with new functionalities introduced. The Ultra-2 will also be having the same chip design, that is expected in the Series-9, and updated ultra-wide band chip, in addition also is the new heart rate sensor. The watch is expected to come with a new color, although we have no ideas of what it may be, however unconfirmed reports are saying they might come in a black titanium shade.
The Apple USB-C AirPods Pro-2:
The AirPods-Pro 2, is expected to have the USB-C type charging case, a replacement for the current lightening case, which corresponds to the EU Demands. The AirPods Pro-2 still remains the same, as there are no changes made in the hardware.
Introducing the New iPhone Casings from Apple:
The new iPhone casings are taking a new dive, as apple doesn’t wish to produce casings made of leathers, for the new iPhone 15-models. It is discovered that the new iPhone casing designs would be more eco-friendly, and gossip reports are of the opinion that the material which is used for the casing design is woven, and would be named “FineWoven.”
