There is no doubt that most google fan boys and girls are excited to watch google I/O event 2023, and its keynote that is said to be live streamed on the 10th of May 2023 (Wednesday).
The event showcase googles’ software updates and unveiling of the next big thing in the android community. It is exciting that google in the bid to take a new dimension since last year, by revealing new phones and smartwatches from the company. This new turn around is said to continue with even a bigger plan from the company.
Google officially disclosed to the public to unveil at least one phone which is the Pixel Fold on the day of event.
WHAT GOOGLE I/O is all about?
The google I/O event is an ongoing annual conference for developers, that gives opportunity for the company’s product developers on various platform belonging to google to come together and discover new exciting plans of the company, its policies, and new developer tools.

It is no doubt that google develops a range of products ranging from hardware devices such as smart home technologies, down to Chromebook (computer), watch OS, Chrome OS, Google search consoles, and google tag manager. It is expected that other areas of googles product such as Google Maps, and email services will be discussed and new updates unveiled during the I/O 2023 event.
WHEN IS GOOGLE I/O SCHEDULED?
The Google I/O event 2023 is said to be coming up this Wednesday 10th May 2023 at 10:00 a.m. PT, 1:00 p.m. ET, 6:00 p.m. BST. The event is scheduled to hold for just a day, a change compared to previous years, which used to be a multi-day event.
It is known that the event is hosted in-person at shoreline Amphitheatre near its mountain view California campus, however participants are invited to stream online on the Google I/O official website. Registration is free, and registered users can stream via the website.
The event, begins with an opening keynote, where company executives announce the major event for the day. Followed by the opening of the keynote, is the developer edition, that touches topic of interest to the developers present at the event.

The upcoming Google I/O 2023, as well as the keynote will be made available from Google I/O official website. It is also to be noted that participants can also watch from their official YouTube channel.

The event just like every other event of the previous years will cover a wide range of topics. The new trend of AI-powered chat tools has been a trend since the year 2023, Google said to talk about Bard a chat client developed by google, and how this tool can aid other google tools such as search, maps, and a variety of productivity tools.

The android 14 beta which was announced last month, Google I/O 2023 will be the companies first opportunity in giving a public preview to a wider audience. It is no hidden facts the role Android has played in the previous I/O editions, it should be expected to likely continue this year. The community at large should be expecting a more clarity on the expected timeline for android 14 development, as rumored that a ready version is expected towards the end of summer.
The major focus should be on Google announcement on new hardware. It should be noted that after Pixel 6a made its appearance during the Google I/O 2022 conference, we look forward to its successor the Pixel 7a to toll the same path. Google India posted a teaser tweet notifying the public of the unveiling of a new phone by 11th May. The public should expect the 7a considering that the rumor that there will be sale of 7a around that time.

What components should we expect of the 7a? giving the facts flying around the new budget phone has similar components like the Pixel 7, right down to its tensor G2 chipset. There is also a chance that the camera of the 7a would be upgraded, with a faster refresh rate, and supports wireless charging. The new upgrades come’s with a hike in price when compared to the pixel 6a.
It should be expected as well to see other products such as the Pixel tablet. Previously previewed last fall, during the Google hardware event, the pixel tablet comes with an 11-inch display and a G2 tensor chipset, a stand accessory which makes the device into a smart screen while charging.
